Mattatuck Gala

The Mattatuck Gala is the primary fundraiser for the Mattatuck Volunteers, raising thousands of dollars annually to support the camp we all love.
This year's event will be our 10th annual gala!
We recently began giving out awards at the gala. The Point Award recognizes an individual for outstanding volunteerism and service to Mattatuck. The past winners are: Dr. Ray Sullivan (2023); Brian "Spaceman" Shannon (2024) and Bob Peoples (2025). In 2025, we began awarding two additional honors: the Mission Brown Unit Service Award and the Compass Award. The Mission Brown Unit Service Award recognizes a Scout unit who has made great contributions to Mattatuck. The Compass Award is a similar recognition for a business. The inaugural winners were Troop 52 of Oakville and Sanford & Hawley, respectively.
We have a silent auction each year at the gala. More information will be coming shortly as to how to donate something for the silent auction.
