General Information:
Join us for Scout's BSA Winter Camp! This is a Winter Camping Experience that features both day and resident camp options. Scouts joining us for resident camp will move in the morning of Dec. 27th and move out the afternoon of the 29th. All resident camp Scouts will be housed in heated cabins! Day Camp Scouts will join us day by day, Scouts can come to one, two, or all three days as a Day Camper.
How Day Camp Works:
Scouts joining us for Day Camp must sign up per day, meaning one registration does not guarantee three days of the program. Any Scout wanting to participate as a Day Camper must sign up for each individual day of the program and select a different merit badge for each day. Only lunch is provided as a part of the day camp program. Merit badges will run from roughly 9:30am - 4pm. See the button above "Scouts BSA Info/Registration" for a schedule for each day. Tickets to the laser light show will have to be purchased separately.
How Resident Camp Works:
Merit Badges will run as a badge per day. For example, if a Scout signs up for Winter Sports Merit Badge, that will be the only badge they take that day, and it will take a full day to complete. This also means the Scout will need to select a badge a day to join us for this experience, meaning Scouts can earn up to three badges while participating in the Mattatuck Winter Camp Experience. All meals will be provided beginning with lunch on Tuesday afternoon. Merit badges will run from roughly 9:30am - 4pm. See the button above "Scouts BSA Info/Registration" for a schedule for each day. There will be special evening activities for Resident Camp Scouts including, games, movies, dutch oven cooking demonstrations, and VIP access to the first-ever Mattatuck Laser Light Show fundraiser on Wednesday night.
The first 25 Scouts to sign up for Scouts BSA Winter Camp by November 1, 2022, will receive a free limited edition glow-in-the-dark Mattatuck Scout Reservation Council Strip. (Only 500 made)
