Merit Badge Completion Day is Friday, August 14, 2009. It was incorrectly published as August 15 in some publications.

This day gives scouts the opportunity to work on more merit badge requirements and possibly complete the badge. Scouts may only work on requirements for badges that they have previously received partial requirements. New badges cannot be started on this day.
