Adventure Treks
Adventure Treks are morning programs designed for Scouts 13 years of age or older and are administered by an experienced group of staff members. Scouts will sign up for these programs during the Tuesday night program planning meeting or during merit badge sign-up on Sunday night when you arrive at camp. Scouts can sign up for any or all of these activities.
Here is the schedule:
Monday 9-12
- Geocaching: A treasure hunt using Global Positioning Systems (GPS)
- Mountain Biking: A chance to ride through the Mattatuck Mud Pit
Tuesday 9-12
- Whitewater Trip: Tubing through the rapids of Satan's Kingdom on the Farmington River
Wednesday 9-12
- Climbing and Rappelling: Exploring the many routes at the Whitestone Cliffs.
Thursday 9-11
- Orientorkeling: An underwater orienteering course using mask, fins and snorkel.
