The most famous climbing tower in the BSA, built in 2005 is nothing short of awesome. The tower is 40 feet tall and provides spectacular views of the lake for its climbers. It is a four sided tower that ranges greatly in difficulty from basic climbing to challenges such as the helix wall, crack climb, barrel, overhang and a climbing chimney. Featured on the front of the Climbing Merit Badge book, our tower has been distinguished as one of the premier climbing facilities in the Boy Scouts of America. In fact, many of the pictures in the book were taken at Camp Mattatuck at our climbing tower, as well as on our weekly trip to the White Cliffs, a range of awesome natural rock faces that are only a short drive away. Located conveniently near many popular places in camp, the tower is full of endless excitement and fun!
